April Update (2026)

Current Work

  • Worked on gauge-independent mass construction using the pinch technique
  • Followed the approach developed by Joannis Papavassiliou, particularly the “connection between the pinch technique and the background field method”

Goal

  • To establish a gauge-parameter independent definition of the off-shell mass

Progress

  • Successfully extended the construction to QED cases with an arbitrary number (n) of internal fermion lines
  • The n = 1 case was previously studied by Papavassiliou, and the result has been generalized to higher n

Status

  • Currently working on extending the analysis to QCD
  • Temporarily paused due to the exam period
